As we all know, the newspaper industry today is slowly, but surely fading. Today’s trends do not necessarily mean the end of newspapers completely, but do signify a change in the way we receive media. With more and more people turning to the internet for information, the students in Ms Roops Creative Writing classes have created a blog. We hope this blog will appeal to readers of all ages.
Breaking news out of the sports world, a whole truck load of performance enhancing wristbands has gone missing. The truck driver said “The man the man who robbed me had an offical Yankees baseball cap with the number thirteen on the back of the cap.” The police interviewed the team manager, and he said, “The only person in the world with a hat like that is our third baseman, Ned Needs Help.” He also added that at the time they could not locate Ned, or even get a hold of him on his cell phone. We are getting word from outside sources that dangerous men have purchased these wristbands. We have some direct quotes from the men with the wristbands about the performance enhancment in them. (“Dude, some guy that looks famous, I have never seen him around these parts before, but good gosh these things are awesome.”) His friend said the only thing he could say is one thing, and I quote “Whoa, Dude, that was the stuff!” It sounds like another star has gone crazy over money and finding a way to get better in their sport.
Obama Speech When Obama talked about the health plan I thought it was a good idea.Specially with the way the economy is people are going losing their jobs and losing their health coverage .Therefor this health plan is a great contributer to us all.To me people are going to be sick regardlessly if they have a job or not.The tax plan is neccesary in order to balance the unbalance economy.The whole education is very important because other countries are leaving our kids behind. We need to cut off the television,put away the cells phones and i-pods,and make kids sit down and read a book for atleast an hour.
**Breaking News!** Southeast Guilford High School was evacuated today. A large footprint found outside the front office, the vending machine was empty and the principal was missing!
On February 8th, 2009, Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna. Reports state various reasons for him making this decision. Some say she gave him herpes. I find it very hard to believe, but then again, who expected Chris Brown to not only hit, but bite Rihanna.
They also say that while attending a Pre-Grammy party, Paris Hilton was attempting to get with Chris Brown and Rihanna confronted the issue. This resulted in a argument that led to violence. I find this report a lot easier to believe considering I don't believe Rihanna has Herpes. Honestly, no one was expecting this. These are two highly favored celebrities.
I know him hitting her is not a rumor because on national t.v, he apologized and turned himself in. Soon after, he was released on bond. He thoroughly apologized, but Rihanna is going to feel this hurt and embarassment the rest of her life. Rihanna's dad didnt react the way everyone expected him to. He wasn't drastically upset about the issue, but he advised Rihanna to go leave the relationship. If I were her dad, I would have said and done a lot more than that. Im sure he has, but reports haven't proven it.
Reality is, you can never know or trust someone 100%, no matter how long you'll have been together. Chris Brown probably ruined his entire carreer behind one mistake, he definitly lost a lot of fans. If it's true that Rihanna gave hime Herpes, I blame her for the situation because she should be open enough to tell her boyfriend something that severe. Whatever the case may be, they lack good communication.
