Introduction
As we all know, the newspaper industry today is slowly, but surely fading. Today’s trends do not necessarily mean the end of newspapers completely, but do signify a change in the way we receive media. With more and more people turning to the internet for information, the students in Ms Roops Creative Writing classes have created a blog. We hope this blog will appeal to readers of all ages.
Rain To Sun
ReplyDeleteUh I cant go out to play today
That made that day go down the drain
My day is ruin because of the rain
I hope this wont happen again today
Because I want to go outside to play
Oh my gosh this day is going insane
Its bringing me so much terrible pain
All I want to do is go out and play
There was no showers up in the sky
Hey a miracle I have seen the sun
I'm so happy I wish I could fly
Because I can go out and just run
I saw my friends and just said hi
We decided to play and have some fun

Loves Demise
ReplyDeleteI’m looking for an original sin,
Something that only I could do for you
I lost before the game was to begin
And now I am here with nothing to do
All hopes of days underneath the sunrise
But the cruel winter chill did steal my breath
Just as the smoldering heat of your eyes
But now this heart beats nothing but death
As I await the never coming kiss
And feel the tears that cruelly stain my cheeks
There is nothing about you I won’t miss
And now I climb to stand atop these peaks
All fears now alive and entombing me
As I fall from these tops into the sea

(Sonnet)
The moon is shining, lofty, pale and white;
Devoted, exploring, moving around,
Changing shapes and phases slowly each night.
Admiring, she watches it fade down.
The sun ascends and fills the once white moon.
Warming the Earth, it paints the sky bright gold.
Everyday, it shines brightest near noon.
She watches it until the day grows old.
The night returns, along with shining stars,
As the moon appears again, to shine light.
A comet passes by and travels far.
She looks out her window, watching the sight.
To be an astronaut is what she dreams,
As far away from now as that may be.
